so good!! a sweet slice-of-life about late-onset Deaf Gain, inspired by the creator's experiences. it's awesome when there is any Disability rep at all in podcasts, and I think a lot of folks don't think about how Deaf folks can be represented in an audio-only medium. there's also some really well done OCD rep as well. as someone who has suffered with OCD, and who periodically has significant temporary hearing loss in one ear (combined with audio processing issues), it was such a breath of fresh air to see how these ways of being were represented <3it has a queer and open vibe, the writing is good, voice acting is great, it has a heartfelt and emotional core to it, they do some cool sound design things for simulating Deaf and OCD experience... just a wonderful, and ofc sometimes challenging story about coming to terms with a new way of being, and the struggles and joys that come along with big change~highly recommend! season 2 is coming sometime this year
